  • Samuel returns home from Deptford
  • Samuel pays a call on William Batten and stays to play cards with Lady Elizabeth Batten and Martha Batten.

In addition, the news related by Samuel in his diary that Sir Henry Vane and John Lambert are taken as prisoners from the Tower to the isles of Scilly is recorded as a travelling-event involving those two individuals.
